Abstract
Mainly from the systematic criticism directed at him by Kant, the concept of ontology, historically identified with that of metaphysics, entered into a crisis of theoretical legitimacy, increasingly, throughout the evolution of the criticism of many authors, to mean something absolute, deterministic and ahistorical, if not directly theological.
