Abstract
This text investigates the diverse dialectical conceptions that Gyorgy Lukacs adopted from History and Class Consciousness to his Ontology of Social Being, produced at the end of Lukacs's life. The author argues that between the different conceptions there is a conducting wire that represents a philosophic maturity in the hungarian thinker that is original in a 20th Century context and continues to extend Marxist work.
