Abstract
This paper is part of an ongoing research about contemporary imperialism. It focuses on two theoretical axes: a) the expropriation as a social condition to the conversion of money into capital and its deepening nowadays, and b) the characteristics of capital in the moment of its greatest development, which were presented by Mar the Capital, section 5 of the 3rd book, specially in chapter 21th, Interest-Bearing Capital. Then the article proposes some provocative interpretations to the contemporary dominance of money capital, taking in account its representations by the common sense; the work's aspects; the social function of renewed forms of expropriation; and the relation between fictitious capital and expropriation.
