The general crisis of capitalism: Possibilities and limits of overcoming it

Abstract

This article is concerned with the nature of the current global economic crisis, characterizing it as a general crisis of capital and, in particular, of the current global standard of capitalist accumulation. As corollary, it defends that, by virtue of the same one to synthesizer the set of the structural contradictions of this standard, it cannot be surpassed as if it was a simple conjunctural crisis of effective demand.
