Abstract
In the times we live in, one of the effects of globalized capitalism is the rupture with the work and experience of previous generations, making the recent history of a few decades seem like a remote past. It could not be different in the case of Brazil, always in the wake of external influx and dependent on a game of forces that goes far beyond national borders.
