The encounter between revolution and History – socialism as a project in the Marxist tradition

Abstract

This is a controversial book that makes its contribution to the History of ideas. More precisely, Marxist ideas, linked to the struggle for the socialist transformation of the world. Nine of the ten chapters had previously been published as articles in different magazines. Each one can be read separately, without compromising understanding, although originally most of them were part of a doctoral thesis defended at the University of São Paulo.
