Abstract

This collection brings together studies by experts on agrarian issues and social movements, produced for an international conference at the Center for Brazilian Studies at the University of Oxford, in 2003, and revised until 2007, with the purpose of investigating inequality in Brazilian rural areas, its origins , consequences and current reactions to this situation.
