Abstract
In this article we propose a dialectic reading of three poems of the modern Portuguese lyric. We follow the representation of the historic Europe’s modern crisis that in Portugal assume peculiar aspects. The capacity of the poetry to foresee the historical
crisis is taking as a kind of a special hermeneutic.
