Abstract
An intensely discussed topic in recent years, both in academia and outside it, was the outbreak of the capitalist crisis and its characteristics, seen in the post-2008 world economy. Perverse effects on the spheres of production and circulation of the global capital cycle could be felt in several countries around the world, directly affecting the level of economic activity and, consequently, the creation of jobs and workers' income. Understood by us as a capitalist crisis that manifested itself in the financial sphere of capital based on the speculative movements of financial assets, the crisis that broke out at the end of 2008 presented as its central characteristic the significant expansion of fictitious capital based on securities traded on stock exchanges. values. A “world of roles”, as Marx said, which increasingly seeks forms of remuneration and which at the same time puts pressure on the workforce to increase the generation of surplus value.
