Abstract

Stemming from Ruy Mauro Marini´s contributions within Marxist Dependency Theory, the article presents the premises for a global theory of sub-imperialism, encompassing the whole abstraction levels that compound the phenomenom as a totality. Regarding the later, we point out some of the ongoing trends in Brazilian sub-imperialism which the concept helps to enlighten.
