Abstract
Marx's value does not primarily refer to the importance of Marx's thought. In the book, the author proposes to present an interpretation of Marx's theory of value, the foundation of Marx's analysis of the capitalist mode of production. Alfredo Saad Filho introduces important innovations in what he interprets as Marx's analysis of capitalism and the theory of value itself, which are described below. It should be noted, however, that neither the introduction nor the conclusion of the book allow a clear vision of what the book contains. They advance into undeveloped terrain throughout the text and expand the scope of its development, without, however, giving a precise idea of the points at which the text advances in relation to the already vast bibliography on the topic.
