Abstract

The article reviews the current thinking of Ruy Mauro Marini, highlighting the foundations of its political economy, his analysis of the political model in Latin America and the question of socialism. Focuses on the concepts of super-exploitation, sub-imperialism, states of counterinsurgency and the fourth power, central to the theoretical elaboration of the author.
