Abstract
The emergence of the ecological crisis, starting in the mid-1960s, made a true “fire alarm” ring out with new drama for humanity. From the exponential growth in air and drinking water pollution, to the destruction of tropical forests and biodiversity, among many other potential catastrophes, the effects of the ecological crisis clearly demonstrate the destructive nature of the modern capitalist civilizational model.
