Abstract
The book Politics and social classes in Brazil in the 2000s, organized by Armando Boito Jr. and Andréia Galvão, offers a set of analyzes about politics and social struggles in the neoliberal era, which not only helps to unveil the situation of the political process during the governments of FHC and Lula, but allows a reading of the recent political history of our country from a perspective
totalizing, investigating – with qualified empirical research – political institutions and their intimate connections with the reality of social life and the multiple political interests of classes involved in the Brazilian economy and society.
