The authors Sérgio Lessa and Ivo Tonet go beyond the discussions that have become fashionable on the left and in academia, especially in many works in the sociology of work, with an introductory but deeply provocative study on the “great problem of defining what would be the proletarian class and the historical role of its revolution” (p.7).
