Abstract
With the work State and political form, Alysson Mascaro completes a cycle of reflection that begins with the critique of law. “State” and “law” have always appeared as connected themes in Marxism. However, perhaps due to a more frequent focus on politics, bourgeois law is often thought of as a historical specificity of something earlier and more general – the State.
