Abstract
The article analyses the labor-value theory of Marx in its two main approaches: the traditional one, of the embodied labor, and the one of the value form, that explores the social relation character of value and money in capitalism. First, the article discusses the main disagreements between the two approaches, or the two different interpretations of value, calling attention on the privilege of quantitative value in the first vision and of qualitative aspects of value emphasized by the second, agreeing with this last vision. After, however, the article shows the importance of the quantitative aspect, even in the value form theory.
