Abstract
Taking the year 1989 as a milestone, the main features of the international scenario are: strategic defense of the working class; hegemony of capitalism; crisis of capitalism; decline of hegemonic power; rise of other poles of power; dispute between capitalist development paths; formation of regional blocs (Pomar, 2014a). At the international level, the predominant trend is one of instability, crises and conflicts.
