Abstract
The political instability in Brazil in 2015, a year marked by numerous street demonstrations and changes in the economic policy of Dilma Rousseff's government, placed reflection on the present context on the agenda. What is the nature of the ongoing crisis? What factors triggered it? To what extent is the Brazilian crisis associated with the international crisis and changes in the external scenario? Does the crisis express the end of a political cycle, the one that corresponded to PTism in power? There are no univocal answers to these questions, not even among left-wing intellectuals. With this dossier, Crítica Marxista intends to contribute to the understanding of this volatile situation, offering theoretical and analytical approaches based on different perspectives of Marxism.
