Abstract
Geraldo de Majella's biographical work entitled Jayme Miranda: a Brazilian revolutionary, where the author seeks to rescue the memory and provide a brief introduction to understanding the life of an important communist leader who, having started his activism in a small semi-feudal state in northeastern Brazil, He held prominent positions in the hierarchy of the former PCB (Brazilian Communist Party) from the 1950s until he was murdered under torture by the military dictatorship in the mid-1970s.
