Abstract
The translation of the Gramscian Dizionario 1926-1937, originally published in 2009 by the publisher Carocci, in Rome, reaches Brazilian readers in 2017 by the publisher Boitempo. The aim of the work, according to its organizers Guido Liguori, current president of the International Gramsci Society Italia (IGS), and Pasquale Voza, professor emeritus of Literature at the University of Bari, in Italy, is to “reconstruct and present to the reader – in the most accessible way possible – the meaning of Gramscian terms, expressions, concepts, limited to the period of prison reflection included in the Prison Notebooks and the Prison Letters”.
