Abstract
The issue of the Brazilian Revolution was on the agenda of our country's intelligentsia throughout the 20th century. However, since the times of redemocratization, in the 1980s, this theme has completely lost its strength, while the agenda has shifted to the issue of democracy. In recent decades, macropolitical themes have lost ground in the face of micropolitical issues, such as the affirmation of civil rights for marginalized social groups. The problem of the Revolution was limited to residual groups and treated in a marginal and dated manner.
