Abstract
Sometimes, in his On Swann's Path, Proust says that the souls of those we have lost can be found, trapped, in inanimate objects. Given the French author, who found this opinion reasonable, it is plausible to bet that, in the thoughts of some authors, we are getting closer to Brazilian matter and its (mis)paths. One of the most prominent intellectuals of this select pleiade is Oswald de Andrade and a decisive book to examine his work is Vanguard of delay or delay of the avant-garde? Oswald de Andrade and the stubborn destinies of Brazil, by sociologist Bruna Della Torre de Carvalho Lima.
