Abstract
We initially pointed out the misunderstanding of those who consider an analytical advancement to characterize the dictatorship established in 1964 as civilian-military. We argue after that it is dictatorial the power that monopolize the decision on measures of exception. We show how the instrumentalization of the typological pair totalitarianism/authoritarianism has concealed the question
of dictatorship and its connection with fascism.
