Abstract

The present work deals with Christopher Arthur’s reading of the link between capital as the subject of social life under capitalism and class struggle. Starting from the critique of his positions, we intend to show that the class struggle is not an autonomous determination of capital, but one of its moments: the one that regulates the conditions of Purchase and Sale of Labor-Power. Thus, we will affirm that capital must not constitute itself as a subject by bending something that in principle can obstruct it since capital is always already alienated work.
