Abstract

This small book by Lincoln Secco is a precious synthesis of the so-called world wars of the 20th century. In fact, it's more than just that. Lincoln Secco presents the deep roots of these wars and goes back to the Thirty Years' War of the 17th century, which devastated central and eastern Europe, as well as the wars of the 20th century. In fact, there is a tendency in current historiography to identify the two world wars as the Thirty Years' War of the 20th century.
