Abstract

The work presents two texts by Louis Althusser and one by Étienne Balibar, distributed in three chapters preceded by an introduction written by the organizer. This initial section is dedicated to explaining the reasons why the texts are currently of interest to socialist and popular activism, even though they were written in the 1960s. To this end, Barison highlights that the conceptual elements brought to the surface reinforce the reading and defense of Marxism as a Science of History focused on the “concrete analysis of concrete reality”.
