Abstract
Marxist thought on law has recently witnessed two important editorial events: the unprecedented publication in Brazil of Bernard Edelman's work, A legalização da class operária (Boitempo, 2016), as well as a new translation directly from Russian – the previous translations were made from the French – from the major work by Evgeni Pashukanis, The General Theory of Law and Marxism, to which six unpublished texts by the Soviet jurist were added in the edition by Sundermann (2017). The articles gathered in this dossier are written on the theoretical issues common to these authors, debating and developing the Marxist critique of the legal form.
