Abstract
The 2010s in Brazil were filled with significant political events that generated broad debate, both inside and outside academia. Just remember the demonstrations in June 2013, the coup that removed Dilma Rousseff (PT) from the presidency and the election of Jair Bolsonaro (no party). Such events require robust analyzes of their reasons, consequences and mechanisms, whether structural or conjunctural. The book organized by Luiz Filgueiras and Graça Druck, entitled O Brasil nas trevas (2013-2020): from the neoliberal coup to fascism, is part of this analytical framework, comprising 48 texts published between 2013 and 2020.
