Abstract
The article critically discusses the concept of left-wing populism developed by Ernesto Laclau and Chantal Mouffe. Based on a detailed analysis of Mouffe’s work, especially her latest book, it shows the different conceptual approaches that characterize the work of the two authors, despite their political convergence around a project that progressively moves away from the socialist perspective.
