Abstract
The recent history of Latin America is marked by the implementation and longevity of the neoliberal capitalist economic model, by the resistance of the working classes to this model and by the attempts of some governments in the region to reform or even overcome it. This history is also marked by the struggle of working women, popular movements of black, indigenous and LGBT people and also by new forms of domination and imperialist intervention in the subcontinent.
