Abstract

Leaving aside its astronomical origin, historically the revolution takes us back to 1789, 1848 and 1871, before anything else. In these three moments, with different class signs, we have two movements in which two different moments come together: the struggle for power and a project for radical transformations in society.
Mass insurrection was present in all three, an armed popular struggle on the part of the majority excluded from power to defeat the current power, destroy it at its roots and erect an alternative, democratic, majority power, under the direction of the mass of the population.
