Abstract
The collapse of bureaucratic collectivism means the definitive rehabilitation of Marxism as a political theory and practice. Furthermore, the prolonged stagnation of capitalism on a global scale has reached historically unprecedented levels, which corroborates the Marxist critique of capitalism. But the problems that Marxists face today and in the near future are not little intimidating.
