Abstract

Interview with Gianni Fresu, carried out remotely on October 12, 2021. Gianni Fresu is a professor of Political Philosophy at the Federal University of Uberlândia – UFU. He holds a doctorate in philosophy from the University of Urbino Carlo Bo (Italy). President of the International Gramsci Society Brazil since September 2019. He has published several books in Italy and Brazil dedicated to studies in field of historical materialism, political and philosophical thought in the history of the labor movement, fascism and authoritarian thought. Author of Antonio Gramsci, the Philosopher Man: An Intellectual Biography. Member of the group for the full translation from Italian to Portuguese of the Cadernos do Cárcere of the International Gramsci Society Brazil.
