Lessons from classical political economy

Abstract

At the end of this century, we are experiencing a great upheaval at the frontiers of social sciences. However, it is possible to affirm that a good part of social scientists, and especially economists, are submerged in the so-called paradigm provided by modern economics, or "economic science" of the 20th century, almost always with its postulates translated into manuals and taught in best economics schools in the country as the "true economic science".
