Abstract
In July 1991, I heard from a Cuban intellectual in Havana: "For thirty years, we were certain that the socialist camp was eternal. In this fundamental certainty, we supported our project of building socialism in Cuba. Now, the socialist camp ceased to exist. We became disoriented regarding our project and our future".
