Abstract

The crisis of real socialism, exploding in the last years of the last decade, resulted in an astonishing panorama. What is revealed, under the rubble of sorex (really existing socialism), is not only the material collapse of entire regions that rapidly regress into living standards typical of the "Third World"; this collapse (the emergence of a criminality that was considered typical of the bourgeois order seems uncontested) and ideal degradation (the values of the American way of life are updated in everyday life, alongside the revival of horrendous particularisms) and what we can call exemplarization negative - the implications of the demoralization of the socialist project, identified as "barrack socialism", are costing (and will continue to cost the legatees of the revolution) dearly.
