Biografia do Autor

Robin Champieux, Oregon Health & Science University

Scholarly Communication Librarian at Oregon Health & Science University and the co-founder of ARCS: Advancing Research Communication and Scholarship, a new conference focused on the evolving and increasingly complex scholarly communication network. I am a member of OHSU Library’s Ontology Development Group and am interested in how libraries and librarians can positively affect scientific communication across the research cycle. Before joining OHSU, I was Vice President of Business Development at Ebook Library.

Heather Coates, Indiana University Purdue University at Indianapolis

Works in the Center for Digital Scholarship at the IUPUI University Library. As the Digital Scholarship and Data Management Librarian, she provides research data services, manages the campus data repository, supports faculty in documenting research impact, and promotes responsible practices throughout the research life cycle. She is a librarian practitioner-researcher interested in how sociotechnical systems and academic research practices intersect. What that means in practice is that she explores effective research (data management) practices, data sharing, research ethics, and evidence-based library and information practice. She is a pragmatic advocate for open access/data/education resources/research as processes to improve education and research.

Stacy Konkiel, Altmetric

Director of Research & Education at Altmetric, a data science company that uncovers the attention that research receives online. My research interests include incentives systems in academia and informetrics, and I have written and presented widely about altmetrics, Open Science, and library services. Previously, I worked with teams at Impactstory, Indiana University & PLOS.
